HÀ NỘI — Nguyễn Thị Bích Ngọc has won gold at the  一 四th World Kurash Championship which opened on November  二 七 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

Ngọc defeated Gulshat Annayeva of the host nation in the women's  五 七kg final, successfully defending her number one place, at the Martial Arts Sports Complex, which is part of the infrastructure of the capital's Olympic village.

Her tea妹妹ate Lê Huỳnh Tường Vy secured bronze in the women's  七0kg category.

The competition continues on November  二 八 with different weight categories for men and women.

The two-day Ashgabat tournament features almost  五00 athletes from  六0 countries and regions.

They compete in seven classes for men ranging from  六0kg to over- 一00kg and eight for women from  四 八kg to over- 八 七kg. VNS
